We proudly hold the national award for having the largest Cameo Club membership of all the states
comprising Ms. Senior America. The women who have shared the very special experience of participating as contestants in our annual Pageant are eligible to become members of our Cameo Club. They are warmly welcomed into our unique family of vibrant, active, talented and caring sisters. The camaraderie, multi-faceted activities and wonderful experiences are an ongoing, joyful source of pride and fulfillment, as we promote the Pageant and the goals of Ms. New York Senior America. While performing in our many showcases, we enjoy bringing happiness and quality entertainment to functions, whether in a lavish ballroom, a hospital, on TV or outdoors. Among our diverse and exciting areas of involvement, in addition to our frequent showcase performances, we are a popular attraction at the annual Garden City parade on the evening heralding The Belmont Stakes Open. Our Seasoned Steppers were selected to perform to promote osteoporosis prevention, and their appearances in New York City on all the major TV channels were also carried in the print media. We are a featured attraction at the annual popular 50 Plus Expo on Long Island, and we participate in the PBS TV fundraising activities by taking the calls on TV. We hold exciting fundraisers to support our Pageant and our charities. BIRTHDAY LUNCHEONS Our monthly birthday luncheons, honoring Cameo Club members whose birthdays occur in that month, are lively and lovely social parties where, with great food and great fun, our warm and vibrant Cameo family celebrates together.
